What you’ll do:
- Assist in the development and refinement of architectural drawings and layouts based on initial sketches.
- Use AutoCAD for layouts, elevations, and general architectural drawings.
- Model architectural elements in Rhino, focusing on design, spatial relationships, and materiality.
- Support the design and construction of millwork, detailing, and building out individual pieces.
- Create 3D visualizations of spaces to explore different configurations and spatial experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the lead architect to ensure design integrity and effective project execution.
Minimum requirements
What you must have:
- A degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD & Rhino for architectural design and modeling.
- Experience in 3D modeling and visualization (e.g., Enscape).
- Knowledge of concrete frame structures and renovation projects is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, managing tasks from concept through completion.
- Experience with New York projects is preferred but not mandatory.
- BIM experience is a plus, though not essential.
